Talamh Beò - Emergence
Test Ambience for a proposed series of soundscapes for 'Talamh Beò - Emergence'. The test material features a mixture of hydrophonic, field recordings, manipulated found-sound and music from the west coast of Scotland, and recorded by Watercolour Music.
A series of ambient mixes will complement the main performance work, giving audiences, live or remote, the opportunity to interact with elements of the main work. The online mixer, accessible by fixed or remote device such as a phone or laptop, allows each person to create their own unique mixes based on those elements, and even to place themselves at the heart of the music - and the location - by uploading their own voices or sounds to the mixer.
